Day 01: Hanoi arrival – Airport transfer

You will be warmly welcomed at NoiBai International Airport in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Check in time is 14:00.

The rest of day is your free day to discover Hanoi by yourself.

Day 02: Hanoi City tour

Depart at 8:00 AM from your hotel by van. We begin our day by visiting Uncle Ho at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and residential grounds learning about his great life. Next stop is the nearby Temple of Literature, the site of Vietnam´s first University. Here we also have a chance to see a traditional music performance. Lunch is served at a local restaurant for a taste of authentic Hanoi Pho (noodle soup).

In the afternoon, choose from one of the numerous museums or temples around Hanoi (Museum of Ethnology, Women´s Museum, History Museum or Quan Thanh Temple).

In the late afternoon, take a cyclo trip around Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi´s fascinating Old Quarter. This is your chance to be in the midst of typical Hanoi an life and Vietnamese culture. We finish our relaxing but informative day by attending a Water Puppet Show - a favorite experience for all visitors to Vietnam. We can help you to get back to your hotel if you wish, but often our guests would rather just spend the evening enjoying a drink with a view of the city. Tour finishes at about 4:30 PM. Dinner on your own.

Day 03: Hanoi – Ha Long, welcome on the boat

Departure for Ha Long Bay is around 8:00 AM in a shared (about 4 hours) from your hotel. Arrive at the port around noon. Welcomed on board, you are taken to your cabin before the trip briefing. You enjoy a fresh and local seafood lunch while cruising to explore Ba Hang Fishing village, Dinh Huong Island, Cho Da Islet, Bo Nau cave. Stop for a swim at Titov Beach. Relax at our secluded island-beach. Later you return back to the boat just in time to watch the beautiful sunset from the top deck before enjoying the bay’s freshest seafood dinner.

Day 04: Bai Tu Long bay, back to Hanoi – flight to HCM city

Early risers can enjoy the sunrise and the quiet breath-taking beauty of Bay’s landscape with towering limestone. We transfer you to visit Luon Cave by a traditionally boat rowed by a local boat man.

Return to the cruise, take time to freshen up and check out of the cabins. Please leave your luggage outside your cabins (staff will then transfer to the pier upon arrival for you). Depart for Tuan Chau International Harbour. Then is time to enjoy your brunch before we head back Hanoi around 05:00am

Time to get dinner by your own before our driver pick up and transfer to Hanoi airport for flight to Saigon. On arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel for check in. Stay overnight in Saigon.

Day 05: HCM City – Cu Chi tunnels

In the morning you will visit the Reunification Palace, the Opera House and the Hotel de Ville. If desired, you can also visit the moving War Remnants Museum, containing a wealth of images from the Vietnam wars, help you understand the history of Vietnam further.. You'll also be able to explore colorful outdoor markets and Dong Khoi Street, the city's main shopping boulevard with shops selling clothes and accessories by new Vietnamese designers, hill tribe crafts, high quality linens and house wares.

In the afternoon you will take a drive to visit Cu Chi tunnels - At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam American must have been like. Back to HCMC and free at leisure. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 06: HCM City – Cai Be – Can Tho

Depart HCM City at 8:00 AM from your hotel. Head south to Cai Be. Upon arrival, board a boat for a journey through the Mekong's floating market. See how river life goes on here and watch the trading between merchant ships and local farmers. Lively and exciting. Cruise through the secluded canals and cross the Mighty Mekong to an island where we stop to enjoy fresh seasonal fruit before boating to Vinh Long. Back on the bus for our trip to Can Tho to overnight.

Day 07: Can Tho – HCM City

An early start for a boat trip to Cai Rang floating markets, then we have some distance to cover. First a cruise, then a walk on a quiet country road taking in the magnificent scenery and getting a little bit closer to the locals. Learn about their daily life. In the afternoon we head back to HCM City. At your hotel around 5:30 PM.

Day 08: Ho Chi Minh – Departure

Meet our driver at the hotel lobby then transfer to Saigon airport for departure flight.

Prepatation of the Customer

What to Bring: Passport, change of clothes, sunglasses and hat, toiletries, sunblock, insect repellent, flashlights, good sport shoes, personal first aid kit and medicines, small VND notes for buying drinks. If you feel the need then sleeping bags and a cable lock for your bags is recommended.
