Mystical Bhutan – 6N/7D

Pick up from Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station (NJP) and transfer to Phuentsholing.

Meet & Greet upon arrival at Phuentsholing by our guide.

Overnight at PHUENTSHOLING

After breakfast, transfer to Thimphu. En-route stop at several waterfalls,

view of Chhukha Dam from a distance. Also stop at Chuzom (Confluence) which is the meeting point of Thimpu River (Wong Chu) & Paro River (Pa Chu).

On arrival at Thimphu, check in to the Hotel. Overnight at THIMPHU

After breakfast, go for a day excursion to Punakha, which is the last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan.

On the way visit Dochu-La pass (3080 Mts / 10102 Ft) which is very scenic with a fascinating view of mountains of Bhutan.

In Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong, Suspension Bridge and Chimi Lhakhang.

Later drive back to Thimphu. Overnight at THIMPHU

After breakfast go for Thimphu sightseeing covering

Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang), Sangaygang View Point (BBS Tower), Textiles Museum, Folk Heritage Museum, Simply Bhutan (Closed on National Holiday) and

Motithang Takin Preservation Centre (Closed on Every Monday).

Overnight at PARO

Start the day early for a day hike to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger's Nest Monastery).

The hike which is all the way uphill takes about 2/3 hours one way through pine forests. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast go for a day excursion to Chele-la pass.

Later drive back to Paro. Overnight at PARO

After our breakfast, checkout from the hotel and go for Paro sightseeing,

Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum-Closed on National Holiday), Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang.

Drukgyel Dzong was a fortress and Buddhist monastery, now in ruins. Can be seen from outside only.

Later, we will retrace our scenic drive back to Phuentsholing. Relax in the hotel and get prepared for your departure the next day.

Overnight at PHUENTSHOLING

After breakfast, check out and then transferred to Bagdogra Airport.
